We are pleased to invite you to a modular program of "Anthroposophical Biography Work with Karma," based on the unique knowledge of karma brought into the world by Rudolf Steiner.
Towards the end of his life, Rudolf Steiner presented the knowledge of karma from the perspective of Anthroposophical Spiritual Science, regarding it as his most important contribution to humanity.
The questions of karma and freedom have accompanied humanity since the dawn of time. They touch upon the deepest mysteries of human existence and invite us to look anew at our lives and their meaning.
The concept of karma, and the related concepts of fate and destiny, confront us with fundamental questions:
Who am I, and what is the meaning of my life? Are the events that unfold in my life merely the result of chance, or is there a deeper lawfulness underlying them? Is my destiny predetermined, or do I have the power to influence the course of my life? What is the relationship between the destiny I have been given and my freedom of choice? Am I merely subject to the forces that shape my life, or am I also an active participant in creating my own destiny?
Exploring the question of karma opens the possibility of investigating the profound relationship between destiny and freedom, and understanding the role of free choice and personal responsibility in shaping our lives.
Module 1 – The Karmic Imperative and Its Necessary Fulfillment
The first module serves as a gateway to an in-depth study of karma and reincarnation through an exploration of "The Karmic Imperative and Its Necessary Fulfillment."
The word "imperative" refers to an inner calling, a karmic task that the soul takes upon itself as part of its path of development. It is a task that seeks fulfillment throughout life, sometimes even in opposition to the conscious wishes, preferences, and intentions of the personality.
This module is the first in a series of five modules to be offered subsequently. Each module stands as an independent unit, while together they offer an in-depth exploration of karma from different perspectives within the human biography.
The extensive knowledge presented by Steiner has been researched and developed into a practical methodology of biography work at Hotam School, as part of its training in Biographical Counseling and Anthroposophical Spiritual Science in Israel.
The program was inspired by the research of the late spiritual teacher, Mr. Zvi Brieger.
