Orna founded Orna's Leather Art to create well-designed, oversized bags for individuals who are living life to the fullest and need a beautiful practical way to carry all that goes with their busy life. As an Israeli architect, Orna brought her
expertise in building design to the design of her leather bags, to create practical, durable bags that are also works of art.
Orna’s concern for sustainability and women’s rights meant that she wanted a special place to manufacture her bags and searched until she found the Elico factory, located in Ethiopia, a land that Orna fell in love with after her first visit.
The company respects the land and traditions of Ethiopia, and all of their products are handcrafts with a passion for natural materials and colors. Orna also found well-designed tie-dye leather jackets by Elico's talented designers.
Manufactured in Ethiopia at the Elico Factory, Orna's Leather Art supplies work for women who wish to be financially independent and have their voices heard. For Orna’s Leather Art and Elico Factory, sustainability means respect for the people and
the planet, avoiding the depletion of natural resources to maintain an ecological balance.
Concentrating on style, practicality, and high-quality, Orna’s Leather Art handcrafts their luxury bags and tie-dye jackets to make a statement for Ethiopia, women, and the planet.
